Last Episode of Battlestar Galactica

On Friday night the Big-Cat and I will be sitting in front of the TV watching the very last episode of the re-imagined version of Battlestar Galactica. We both think it is one of the smartest, well written shows on TV right now and we’ll be sad to see it end.

It has dealt with many issues that make up our society today: racism, love, hatred, xenophobia, relationships, loyalty, war, honour, and how some people could twist logic to become suicide bombers.

And it did it all with characters that seemed very real; each having their own strengths and faults. People you can relate to and understand. There are no fake people that are like Hollywood super-human heroes or cartoon-like villains.

Unfortunately, some people never gave the show a chance because they don’t watch Science Fiction; but in my opinion, there is a more realistic portrayal of what makes people tick on this show than on almost any other show on TV.

If you haven’t been watching this show; why the frak not?

Hmmm, does this mean you speak klingon and have read the whole Dunne series? Not bad for a little cat.

Not sure if you are aware, the united nations did a whole event on the last episode, as they feel it addresses all the big issues that we face as a human race.

Not only cute, but also a very smart kitty.
